Dust

Matthew 10.14:If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave that house or town.

Mark 6.11:If any place will not welcome you and they refuse to hear you, as you leave, shake off the dust that is on your feet...’

Luke 9.5:Wherever they do not welcome you, as you are leaving that town shake the dust off your feet....’

Luke 10.11:“Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off ... Yet know this: the kingdom of God has come near.”

I woke up with these passages of scripture playing over and over in my head

I'm sorry. I only just heard from a mutual blogging friend. You are being held in prayer.

Shaking off the dust will take some time, that's the thing with dust--its so small and yet so penetrating at times.

Keep remembering who you are as God's precious one, never alone.

I continue to hold you in prayer, and to send my love your way. You are precious, and holy, and loved by God, and so many others too+

When we packed up my office last week... hubbahubba helped (lifting and toting). The more I packed... the more angry he got. As we were driving away... Ikea bags stuffed with books... he told me (with a tone that I knew I better listen)... STOP! I did. He opened the truck door... yanked off his sandals... and slammed them together 3 times. nuff said.
