I am as surprised as anyone that Christianity is the path through which this has happened. However it is also a reflection of the culture I live in . Thankfully Christianity offers a wide berth and I can hang onto that which feeds me and my faith and let go of the rest. Soelle has proven to be a wise source of sustenance.Terrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15667178624061122421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2678482213828648107.post-14502294897252642582013-07-17T13:01:28.067-04:002013-07-17T13:01:28.067-04:00Terri, you are an inspiring mystic. I haven't said this before (I think), but I really appreciate you and your spiritual viewpoints. You are one of the people who maintains my (somewhat fading) belief that Christianity can be noble and beautiful in the hands of the right people...Lisa :-]https://www.blogger.com/profile/02237889098638895390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2678482213828648107.post-82030762336125519242013-07-17T10:13:53.888-04:002013-07-17T10:13:53.888-04:00I am writing on an iPad using the blogger app. Goi...I am writing on an iPad using the blogger app. Going back into this reflection and editing it will probably delete it. So let me just add, I meant to say that "Being attentive IS NOT always a logical act." Being attentive is as much about our emotions and the revealing of them as it is a process for paying attention. For me this idea of prayer as the highest state of attentiveness is not like the effort one makes to stay awake in class or in a meeting. This state of attentiveness is the ability to become aware of our inner most parts and enable them to have breath within and without.Terrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15667178624061122421noreply@blogger.com
